Responsibilities

  • You support a team of experimental and software ergonomics researchers to operate an ergonomics lab to constantly provide professional inputs of cognitive ergonomics to the development of next generation Huawei IOT products such as smartphone, smart watch and smart home devices.
  • Your main activities will be to conduct user interviews in a diary study as well as lab and remote studies, summarize and analyze the user feedback, and to prepare documents to present the research.
  • The main application of the research is to ensure UI localization for European and Western users of Huawei devices.
  • With your results-oriented mindset you can actively transfer research insights back into the context of a consumer-driven and fast-paced industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Experimental/Cognitive Psychology, Social Psychology, Marketing, Human Factors & Ergonomics or Human-Computer-Interaction;
  • First experiences in project management and user research methods, confident handling of research equipment and participants;
  • Fluent written and spoken English and German;
  • High communication, organizational and interpersonal skills combined with team spirit in multi-disciplinary teams, openness for an international environment and cultural diversity;
  • Strategic mind-set and independent and well-structured working style with a hands-on, can-do attitude;
